Description

Position works under the supervision of the Sr. Administrative Director, Human Resources and Manager, Human Resources.  He or she will provide customer service to hospital employees and visitors interacts with individuals of all professional levels in person, via telephone and email.  Position requires clerical and administrative functions and answers requests for information as necessary.  Performs other duties as assigned. 

Experienced general admin support. Competency with Outlook and Microsoft Office Suite required.  

 

Spanish speaking desired.

 

Must be available for phone and possible in-person interview.

Primary duties include scan documents, label them and file them digitally in HR systems.

 

May or may not perform the following:

  1. Takes incoming telephone calls. 
  2. Oversees incoming and outgoing mail. 
  3. Performs clerical data entry of all performance evaluations into the HR information system.
  4. Performs data entry of all disciplines into the HR information system
  5. Accurately maintains employee files.
  6. Processes employee changes to the HR tracking system.
  7. Processes reports and information and distributes as needed.
  8. Creates, inputs, and maintains computer data files, tracks and calculates data, and compiles reports as necessary.
  9. Is able to work with a minimal amount of supervision.
  10. Performs other duties as assigned.

A minimum of two years clerical experience, preferably in a Healthcare Human Resources environment. Able to type a minimum of 45 wpm, proficiency in MS Word and Excel and computer record-keeping skills. Knowledge of fundamental principles and practices of Human Resources is a plus.
