Provide comprehensive nutritional assessments and reassessments utilizing patient management by risk level criteria and assiociated timeframes. Provides updates on tolerance of nutritional interventions and communicates findings to physician and nursing staff. Initiates and evaluates Plan of Care and Nutritional adequay through multidisciplinary Care Plans, Rounding and effective communication to physicians and nursing staff. Must be able to provide comprehensive assessment and reassessment for patients on enteral or parenteral feeding modalities. Effective written and verbal communication skills. Strong organizational and time management skills.
Bachelors or masters degree in nutrition from an accredited college or university. Current registration with the American Dietetic Association. BCLS Certification preferred. One year clinical or acute care experience preferred
